Help with Siphoning Fuel

So the fuel that is in my boat has been in the tank for about 2 years or so. I need to get it out, is there an easy way to pull up the floor to get to the tank? The port holes in the floor aren't exactly the best to sick a siphon pump tube down into.
If the floor doesn't come up easily then I'll just get a different style siphon tube but, I'm looking for the easiest way to get the fuel out and soon. I'd like to get it out on the water this weekend if possible.

Thanks!

Fast

What I did to remove 90 + % of the gas in my tank was to attach a fuel rated hand pump to the fuel connection that feeds the engine off the tank. The pump from Walmart was 8 bucks?

It will help to raise the front of the boat. The rest of the gas I pulled the sending unit and tried to siphon out the rest.

Thanks Dirty, i'll check out walmart for a hand pump. where is the sending unit? i unscrewed both panels and only found the fuel shut off switch under the rear one. and the filler tube hose is under the front panel.

I would think you could just disconnnect the fuel line from the intake side of the fuel pump.
The other end of that line sits on the bottom of the tank (sending unit). That should get 90% of the fuel like Harry83 suggested.

If you post a picture I can draw an arrow to what looks like the unit.

Do you know what size tank you have?
