Help with size of outboard

I have an older 16' aluminum Fisher Marine and had an 35 hp on the back, i am replacing it soon and would like to know what you would recommend. <br /><br />I can not read the plate on the boat for max engine size but the research i have done as listed 35 at a couple places and 50 at others. <br /><br />Will be used for fishing with 2 people most of the time

Either this is a double post or you have two different boats. Here, you say it's a Fisher Marine. In the other post you say it's a Sears Gamefisher.<br /><br />I'm confused.
