Help with SN lookup- Canadian model

Hey guys- recently fixed this motor for a friend- i did find parts but it's hard to look up as it doesn't fit into us serial number lookup charts- it came up as a Belgian made engine- same as my Canadian made 18hp merc did when i was researching it. I'm hoping to find the year of the motor- could be 88 or 89. Serial is A744895. it's a 45HP Mariner. Thanks

I can't post a direct link, so drill down through the Outboard section to 2 Stroke Carb, then 45, 450 (4 CYL.) and the serial number (0A719281 & Up) - Canada. I think this is your catalog.

See if it looks right for the motor. Under the cowling section, it has Mariner decals, so it should be for Merc and Mariner motors.
