I have a 73 70hp Chrysler 707HF. I see different recomendations for spark plugs. Which is correct and what gap? Also, can I use a plug that will not cause noise in the radio?

Thanks

Re: help with spark plugs

My book only goes to 1972 but, it shows the 1972 70hp with the Champion L20V plug. This looks to be a surface gap type plug.If yours is breaker point equipped, the point gap is .013-.015.

Thanks scotiany! It is a 1973 motor. Is there a replacement plug for the L20V that cuts down on ignition noise? I see Champion has a 5931 Marine plug with the same specs as the L20V but it's a resister plug. Anyone use these plugs?
