help with tach install

OK here is what I have , 1992 88spl , it came with no tach and I need to know what color wires go where? I have peeled back the black outer coating
on the wire coming out of the control box. now what? pappy3

The easiest way to hook it up is to buy the wiring harness; it plugs right into your control box; there are 3 wires on the other end that connect to the tach; I'm not sure which wires go where, but no doubt someone else here will chime in. If I remember right, that harness is about $30.00 but well worth it. Also, make sure you have your tach at the correct setting; should be 6p. Good luck.

Gray wire-------pulse sender
Black wire------Ground
Purple wire-----Hot 12V DC running thru the key

Right, and blue wire is dash lights (connect to navigation light sw)
