help with tach

i need to know what tach to buy over ebay. bought used boat/motor... tach is missing 86 mariner 75hp 4cyl. 12 pole tach? 3 wire tach? i know it works off stator... but dont know what stator i have to work a tach... many loose wires under dash... dont have a manual yet. can someone please enlighten me

3 wire tach
black = ground
grey = sender
purple =12 volt whit key on

if you use a control side mount check on the control box , you have a black plug-in for 3 wires ,just chase the wire if already use under the dash and connect them....
