It's been about twenty-five years since I used a timing light. Now I find myself needing to use one on my outboard.
I acquired a timing light a few years back when I inherited this old boat and now need to put it to use. It is an old Snap-On MT-215. The power cable has two aligator clips are both black. I cannot see any indictations which is + and which is -.
Is it possible that the leads can be connected in either battery terminal
