Can someone here point me in the right direction...i have got some weird size boat trailer tires that need replacing. I have called 2 local tire shops in town and have gave them the numbers on the sidewal and no one has them in stock...

The size is C78 12ST

Can these be transfered over to another size like a 4.80 or anything else i can get more readily...

Also what is the difference between a C78 12ST and a B78 12ST..?

Can someone shed some light...???

Re: Help With Tires sizing....

THE ALPHA NUMERIC SYSTEM - (B78 X 13 C) common on 13"-15" trailer tires, indicates air chamber size (B), the 'Aspect Ratio' (78), the rim diameter (13"), and the load range (C)

C= 6 ply , 12 = Wheel Diameter, ST = Special Trailer.

Unless you're real close to the fenders either 4.80-12(21.3"OD) or 5.30-12 (21.8" OD) should work.
Make sure you have the correct load range C-6 ply

The "C" in his tire size doesn't refer to the load range. But C load-rated would be a good idea anyway.
