We have acquired our first boat from my in laws...nice boat they have used it up until this season. I spent a day or so getting it ready for easter fishing, it got all tuned up and started just fine in the water barrel. Well we get to the boat ramp get the trailer in the water drop the motor and it starts three times and dies each time go to start it again and it won't start. 
It acts like nothing is getting to the starter, battery is charged and will run the trolling motor.
