Help!!

I have a 96 four winns horizon 200, with a cobra 5.0. the trim does not work, trim motor runs but lines are losing fluid so we are trying to replace the hydrolic lines but it looks as if there is no way to get the lines off with out taking the whole stern off, the lines go into the fire wall and we cant get to it easily, it suggestions

Howdy,

you have yourself a problem there. I recently sold a complete Cobra gimbal and the buyer didn't want the trim cyls/lines, so I removed them.

I had a really hard time getting them out of the gimbal and I had the gimbal on the floor!

You absolutely have to remove the drive just to get in there. Once you're in there you can probably remove the lines. You MUST use the correct (flare-nut) wrench or crow-foot on the lines or you'll destroy the stainless steel flare-nuts and you may not be able to get them off at all!
