Help!

Absolute newbie to boating. Have a 12ft boat sitting in shop de-frosting after owners left water sit in it and freeze.

It has an Evinrude Fisherman 6 on it. Where do I find the serial number on it. Any other advice is greatly appreciated at this stage!

A metal plate on the stern bracket. In the format xxxxx-xxxxx, the first part is the model number, and second part is the serial number.

Also duplicated on a round core plug on the powerhead

Use the search feature on the upper right of this forum < has a magnifying glass symbol next to it>, just type in 6hp. evinrude fisherman...you'll have to separate the wheat from the chaff...but you'll have enough reading to keep you occupied
