I have 1988 24ft riv cruiser and want to no how big of motor I'm rated for?

Not sure "Tiny". There should be a placard on or around the helm. Someone here will know. I'd suspect 75 - 115 hp, Probably has somewhat smaller 21" diameter tubes. Good luck and welcome.

The card was removed before I bought it I want to put a 115 on it. Any help wud be grat.

90 HP was the max rating. A 115 wouldn't be pushing it and would probably weigh close to the same as the 90. But insurance should be checked to make sure they will cover you..

If your transom has wood on it I would replace that and make sure everything is in tip top shape with the motor pod, inspect all the welds really close to check for cracks and keep an eye on after you put the engine on.

They just didn't put giant engines on toons back then, a 90 was about it with some having 150s, it wasn't until the mid to late 90s that they started putting the huge engines on them.
