Newbie.... I have an old astroglass bass boat that I am restoring - thanks to you guys...
I'm having problems separating the deck from the hull. The deck is one piece and has the seat boxes and storage bins attached - no live wells. I've drilled out the rivets and grinded the tape holding the boxes, etc. and seemed to have broken the seam ... but I just can' get it to pop up.
Any suggestions?

Re: Help!!!!

I'm thinking your cap might be glued down to the floor in places they come in contact like under the seat boxes and bins. ? Is the deck glassed to the top inside of the transom at the splashwell?

Re: Help!!!!

Thanks Calico... - you nailed it! The splashwell is tied to to transom. What tool do you think I should use to break this seal? The seal is strong but the wood seems mushy.

Thanks

Ron
