I am currently working on my boat which used to be fathers. It is a 1978 silverline with 115 hp Evinrude. I need a solenoid also i can't find the serial number of the motor. Can anyone please help me? Thanks

The model# and serial# should be near the top left side of the motor mount near the pivot point of the motor.

Hdale,Napa lists starter solinoids for your <br />motor.Same for all years.their # 18-5808.<br /> Trim solinoid for 76-81 #18-5814 or for<br /> 82-92 # 18-5705 hope this helps.<br /> Dont forget to get yourself a ser. manual<br /> When you get that model year.
