Any comments on the Henry O, 22' circa 1990 would be appreciated. Good boat? Bad boat? etc...
jimmy

Baggy,

I am not real familiar with the Henry-O models, but they were manufactured fairly close to home, and in this area (SE NC) they are considered very good hulls.

Re: Henry O boats

I've got a 1994 model 17' Henry O that I bought new in Sept '93. I love the boat. Hull is strong, takes rough water like a much bigger boat and is finished well. I have never had a problem with the hull. Stopped at the Taylor Mfg plant once on a trip to Florida and they treated me like a valued customer giving me a tour of the boat building area as well as other areas where they made other products.

Re: Henry O boats

Thanks for the tips on Henry O boats. Not too many out there by the looks of it. I'd never heard of them before seeing one for sail on ebay, and I've spent years in Florida.(not in the last ten though). I am looking for an older used Aquasport or Grady O/B (under 5K) and not having much luck, and this Henry O caught my eye. Maybe I'll check it out further.
thanks guys,
jimmy

You've probably seen McKee Craft in Florida...which was, among others, a well constructed "Whaler" clone. Henry O is THE man of McKee fame. I understand someone bought Henry O out and things went downhill after that. I really like that flared bow!
