i have a merc 140 hp 3 cyl 4 litre and the prop was clicking. i adjusted it. i think don told me 6" from nut to cotter pin, and that worked until i took it our again. got it home and its clicking again. i adjusted it once more and it was good until i shifted full fwd then back to neutral and the prop was clicking again! do i need new shift cable or are there other adjustments i can make? i see a lot of threads on the other end but the book only tells me how to put new ones on, not too much adj. help. please help.thx
