I picked up a a fuel pump on Ebay.
It has three hose connections and should go to a 55HP Johnson
60-70 vintage. I want to rebuild it. What kit am I looking for?
the only PN that I can find is a casting number 312668 and there is a 1 under it
What motor does it go to? What year? Iwant to install it on my 1990 40HP, it seems to have a failing VRO pump.

60 to 70 vintage motors did NOT have VRO pumps.

Re: Here is a new fuel pump question for you

I have one off of Model#60073B Ser#J01335; it has a 40 HP cowling, haven't yet determined the year & confirmed the HP: maybe someone will give us a hand?

I I plan on trying it to replace a 91 VRO 70hp.

Found it on the web: 1970 60 HP Evinrude.

They are out of stock here but the part # is Sierra 18-7820

No guarantee on accuracy, I'm pretty much a newbie here; that's the best I have and I have one ordered. Wait around until tomorrow night and I'll let you know if it fits.
