I like FW boats, I found mine to be well made but it has been used in salt water so it has needed a lot of maintenance as any I/O would. The major issue is the OMC power package, it is fine if well maintained by someone who knows OMCs, otherwise it can make life difficult for you. The other issue is parts availability in the future, that is an unknown. See if there is good OMC service where you are located, if not I'd get a newer FW with Volvo power if you can get that serviced easier where you are. It's hard to say on the price, I know freshwater boats get much better prices than salt water boats, here that boat would go for about 1/2 that price in US funds.

Here too, I think if you tried to sell that boat around here you might get $5000 or is the 7500 Canadian??
