a square bridge rectifier is just four diodes connected in a square with a wire attached to each corner. Use the diode setting on your multimeter to check each individual diode. If all four diodes are good then the bridge rectifier is good.

what i actually wanted you to answer was about the link(sea-way) you suggested to me .Is the parts you put in the link the correct ones for my engine or will i need to spcify to seaway ....thanks
