I've seen one that big take a 150# tarpon in boca grand and cut it in half. Were they were diving could not have been more than 30-40ft

Gee thanks, kahuna! Your such a swell guy to remind me.

I was diving a boat last week that is near the fish cleaning station. You know what kind of critters that hang out in those nasty places. I try to keep my eyes and mind on what I'm doing, and seldom look down. What am I going to do anyway if I see a shark? The sheephead are irritating enough nibbling barnicles off my suit and taking small chunks along with it. Out the corner of my eye I see a rather large shadow moving under me.


Like I said.......I don't look down.

I have a friend who is a shark magnet. But freedivers always see more. He saw a 12ft scalloping. He has a degree in marine biology and swore up and down one day that the water was too cold to worry about bulls. We were diving an artificial here that is normally loaded. We all got the I went to school and studied this and have a degree speech. He went over the side and landed on one. I laughed till I cried.
