hi can you help me need info on risers

hi ive got over heating trouble on my omc 4.3 v6 and the risers are badly coroded ive spotted a hole in the exhaust side under neath a allan key blank is it ment to be there as its perfectly round iff so whats it for as its in both risers hope you can help cheers mat

If your risers are badly corroded, you should replace them. As far as the spot you noticed, you might want to post a picture.

If the boat is used in salt water, those risers don't last more than 5 years.
