hi v boat lower oil in a car

put used open carrier 12 bolt rearend in my work ride need to top off rear
does the hi vis gear oil for outboard lowers work in automotive ap.
save me a trip to buy a quart when all i need is a couple of ounces
my concerns are will it blend with coventional gear oil 80 90

If it was ME I'd top it off and never think twice about it. I can't tell you that thopugh because the oil police will arrest me for it. I'm not quailified to assume it would be ok, but it don't change what I would do on MY vehicle.

thanks it is 80 90 im going for it this rear is a beater im building one
