Hello all,<br /> I'm looking for someone who can identify the model year of a Hiawatha 5hp outboard with the model # of:250MI25-7973A. I was also wondering about where I could find a carburetor kit, waterpump kit, lower unit seal kit and a prop for this old little motor. Hi Chuck<br />Your motor was made by OMC's Gale div., it is a 1952 model. The Gale equivlent model# is 5D10. The Hiawatha brand was sold by Gamble Skogmo. There are many thousands of these motors around.Lot of used parts. These motors can be found wearing other banners as well, SeaKing,Western Flyer, Sea Flyer,Saber,bucuaneer, and many others. I have no idea where to find new parts. For tune and repair info try the public library.
