Hiding new wires and cables

My boat is all wide open aluminum on the inside. I'm gonna be rewiring all the lights and replacing the motor cable. Right now the wires just lay in the bottom of the boat. It looks tacky and I think they will be getting in the way when I'm fishing and stuff. Is there anyway I can hide the wires and cables? Some way that looks nice too?

Use some plastic grommet to organize the wires?

Or if you boat is all open i might consider getting a length of black rubber hose and run all the wires in that. That way if you step on it it's ok....you could even paint the hose to match you boat color....just an idea.

You don't say what you have (boat? what's that?) but assuming it's a small one, they make a black plastic "hose" for this purpose. On jon boats, you usually run it in the groove along the side and behind the supports; if not tuck it up under the gunwale. You don't want it laying on the deck where it can hold water, and avoid any splices inside the tube as well.

On a larger boat with more wires you may want to run 2" pvc for a wire chase.

Steering cables are often not in a tube, but tucked up out of the way. Be careful not to crimp any control cables.

Cable wrap? They sell stuff like this at office supply stores, for computer cables - but it's pretty much perfect for your application.
