I bought a boat 18ft rinker with mercruiser 3.0 and alpha one drive.....anyway it came with a High five stainless prop it performs well as far as I can tell but I keep reading about over proping and so on..... Anyway my question is are there any markings on the Highfive that indicates the pitch?? Thanks in advance!!

Re: High Five Prop pitch markings

strange for some reason I didnt get your responce until today???? I dont think there is I just had a lot of people comment that it was a lot of prop and being new to the I/O world was trying to research it to see what the fuss was over. My WOT RMPs run around 4500-4600 (if the tach is accuate) my understanding thats around normal and my top end is 39-40mph (not GPS) but it seems to run very smooth at that and fairly strong out of the hole. Found out its pitch is 19" think Im ok just got spooked lol

Sounds like you are propped pretty good to me.

spoken like a true boater :D:D

BTW, I run that exact same prop on an outboard. Great hole shot and grip.....

Haven't played with the ventilation holes but I also turn around 5740 RPMs at WOT (engine range at WOT is 5750) so it's a perfect match.
