I have a chance to pick up a slightly used QuickSilver High-Five Stainless Steel Prop 13X19 pitch. I currently am running a 14.24X21 that is a dog out of the hole. Runs at 4900 and 38mph. Will this prop be too much? looking for skiing and tubing and knee boarding. Dont much care about top speed. Thanks.

I'm not an expert on the hi five but my feeling is it wouldn't do well.
A 20" 4 blade will solve your holeshot and improve your low to midrange performance. The Solas Amita seems to have good predictable results.

This is probably the best prop you can possibly get for out of the hole performance. It is THE choice for wakeboarding and especially on the 3.0 a 19 should be perfect. You honestly will not find better. I bought one after messing with a few 3 and 4 blades and have never looked back. You see loads of them on 3.0 and 4.3 boats used for watersports in the U.K.
This is almost a repeat answer as it has just been asked in the wakeboarding section.
This article gives another idea of what the difference is between props.

I initially went to a 4 blade prop, but then found a deal on a high five. I'm running a 4.3L V-6. I wouldn't trade this prop for any other.

I think it is a really good prop, but am worried it is too much for a 3.0l

I suspect it is heavier and has more drag with 5 blades and therefore will take more hp to turn and bog engine below powerband..

Nope, just get the right pitch for your boat. Lots of boats with the 3.0L engine run them here and work great.
