I ran my 27 maxum scr saturday and noticed that upon planing out, that I could not bring my rpms down to where I usually run. I usually run at 3200 doing about 21 mph. I am not sure if trim tabs are functioning.I am assuming this could be the issue. Any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Was your outdrive all the way down?

Trim tabs may be working fine if you were able to plane out.

Just a Guess.........

It's late in the season..... Your boat bottom is Covered with Crap...... It takes Alot more Horsepower to maintain the same attitude as the Clean hull did before ?????????????????

You state what you Usually Run.... What did it Really Run, This Time ?????

To captain and bondo, outdrive was pitch up after planing ever so slightly. I believe it was the "stuff" on the bottom. It seems to have broken loose and corrected itself. Bondo, I was running at 4400 usually run at 3200-3300. Thank you for your quick responce.
