High speed jet

I have a 1974 115hp Evinrude, if I were to take both hi speed jets out, could you look through the hole in the carb and see light coming from other side side of carb?

Back when I used to drink, I saw a sign on the ceiling of the bar that said "What the h... are you looking up here for?"

Just though I'd toss that in.

Yes, you can see clear through there.
