I have a 97 johnson 150 that just started reading 16 volts at idle and 14 with the key on motor off at the voltmeter.This is just after I replaced the vro pump trying to correct a lean sneeze.The only wires I removed was the 4 wire plug to replace the pump.I haven't checked the voltage at the battery because the boats on a mooring but I plan on going out there with a meter.Is there anything else I should check or try while I'm out there? Electrical isn't my strong point but I can do the basics.
