First off, Thanks to all that replied to a previous thread about Carb Leakage. Now I was crusing at low light conditions and hit a stupid crab bouy. Notice a half second loss of power but then went back to normal. After a couple of minutes of WOT I noticed that I lost 10 MPH on speed. Everything else was fine Water PSI and Rpm's. I then noticed the boat was pulling hard to the right. Stop boat and had 2 ft. of rope aroung prop but that was it. Now I know if I move the trim tab to the right I Can probably fix the pull, but would that cause me to loss the MPH? The engine is a 1991 150 Johnson. Thanks to all who reply!

if the wheel is pulling right move the back of the tab to the right. no it will not hurt speed. you got lucky.
