hit rock, milky gear oil but normal pressure test...???

Hello,

New boat owner with a Yamaha C40 hp TLRZ 2001.

Hit my first and hopefully last rock on weekend. Bent 2 prop blades quite bad and saw no oil leaking at time or after motoring back to dock and watching all day.

Got home and drained the lower unit which instead of amber color(which I filled in spring) it was milky.
Took to shop (good rep, experienced technician) and they pressure tested for 2 hours with no leak.

Could a seal of "burped"? and now resealed?

Just put on a new prop fill and go for it?

Refill, run it then drain and check again?

Any advise?

They should have done a vacuum test too.
