With the boat loaded and moving at the slowest speed possible, I hit an unmarked underwater object. It was a bad shudder and made a loud noise. I continued back at idle speed, loaded the boat on the trailer and prepared for the worse. I could find no damage on the outdrive and no fluid leaks. Do you think I am ok? I have an alpha 1 Gen 2

Re: hitting a stump

dead heads usually are soft. Any vibration at idle on the way back? if not no bent blades, Skeg bent if not don't think you have much to worry about.

Re: hitting a stump

Take it out and punch it. No leaks and no visible damage- you should be O.K. J
