hole size?

Boy do I feel stupid. I only want to do this once though and after the work on the boat the last 2 years don't even want to goof up now.

Transom has been replaced, deck has been replaced, time to get back to the mechanical reassembly.

Have to drill the holes in the transom for the outdrive mounting, 1984 MR drive w/120 2.5L

Have looked through one of the installation manuals online and didn't seem to see...

WHAT SIZE HOLES TO DRILL??

I could guess but that doesn't seem right...

All help is appreciated...

Better make them 9/16 as the bolts and studs are 1/2"

I'm with Don on that, better slightly loose than tight. 9/16
