holes in hull

I have a tri hull that has a rough looking bottom. I think some areas need redone. I also tried to use the flex seal stuff you see on tv. So do i have to sand it until i get to the hull or what?

You just stated in your other thread on the same subject that it's just one hole the size of an english pea... ut the title to this thread says holes as in multiple holes... which one is it, one or multiple?

Well as i said it has the mystery yellow stuff covering a few places. The area Im concerned about is what i mentioned. And the hole is directly on top of where the carpet starts getting wet after a couple hours on the water
