Home made fish atractants

Anyone else have there own fish atractants that they mix up them selves?<br /><br />I make my own with:<br /><br />Cod liver oil<br />Anis oil<br />and a few drops of Iodine<br /><br />Blood has Iodine in it and thats why I use it. Throw a cup of it in the water around some sharks sometime if you dont believe it.<br /><br />Its mostly cod liver oil with a little Anis oil and a few drops of Iodine.<br /><br />Ive done it for years and its entirely my idea, it works also. I mainly use it for Bass.

lubedude, we use vaseline and wd40. also vaseline with liquid salmon scent. we heat the vaseline to liquid form, then mix either the wd40, or the salmon scent in with it and let it cool back to its solid form, then just smear it on your lure. as i said before, does it really work???? we use it and we catch fish. but then we catch fish without too. we use this mainly for lake trout, and salmon.

awhile back.. online i 'searched' for homemade fish attractants.. <br /><br />came arcoss a few sights that talked about a homemade from rotted nightcrawlers an RODIUM mixture..<br /><br />then i searched rodium.. an i got on sites that looked like i shouldn't have been on.. like i was goin' to get a 'vist'from 'the virginia country boys'..<br /><br />as if it's a chemical for nukes or sumthin'...<br /><br />well, anyway .. i gave up on it..but sure is great for fish, supposabily.. <br /><br />i don't know what other,,, but ROTTEN nitecrawlers is hands-down the worst stentch there is..!!
