I have a house I want to sell and I don't want to go through a realtor at this time. <br />I want to run an ad in the newspaper with a web address so buyers can look at pics of the house.<br />What is the best way to get the house on the net?<br />My computer which is three years old came with a "trelix" site building program. I gave it a try and apparently its expired cuz the trelix link on the net is no longer accessible. <br />I noticed my ISP (compuserve) offers a homepage. Does a homepage offer a web address I can put in a newspaper that people can access?<br />Any info will be appreciated.

Yes your isp should offer you webspace to do this.

Be carefull about doing this.<br /><br />By posting pictures of the inside of your house and your address on the 'net' you are letting the B&E criminals 'preview' everything too.

I just ordered a web hosting plan and a domain name.<br />Hopefully everything will work out. Total cost so far is only $12.00. <br />Thanks for the help!!!

they got the name registered for you for only $12?.... how long of hosting / how much space?<br /><br />it will be a pretty low traffic site, so you should be ok even with a bad company. <br /><br />how you get that puppy sold

The domain name cost $7.95. One month of web hosting is $4.00. I don't know anything about web hosting or domain names. It comes with 150 MB of space.<br />The company name is accuwebhosting. I don't know if their good or bad. I have to wait 1-2 days so they can process everything than I guess I can build the page.<br />I am pretty illiterate when it comes to this stuff so I will feel fortunate if I can get this site up and running.

An alternative to going w/ a realtor in Ca. is there's a company called Help u sell. I'm not sure what they ask for money wise but I hear it minimal in comparison to a realtor

I'm familiar with Help u sell. I received a flyer the other day and the price that they had listed was $5950. I'm not sure what you get for 6 grand. <br />To much $ unless they can put the house on the multiple listing service.
