Met some people anchored off the beach, had one of those cigarette type boats. He called it CAPTAINS CHOICE. Sort off like opening up the lakes pipes on a flat head ford or J-2 olds. Use quiet mod for taxing in the canals and open for off shore. Sounded pretty good once he was 2 miles off shore. Certainly would not want to hear it in the canals even at idle. regards fred.

A 4.3L will not sound like a Blown Big block. So don’t expect to sound like the " cigarette boats" IT will be hard to get the angle exactly right on the diverter. I would just buy a set off ebay.... might not be cheaper, but it will work and no one ever said boating as a cheap hobby.
