Just finished mounting homemade tow tower on my barge. Thought I would post a couple pics. This is made out of 1 3/4 steel tube and 2" flat stock. The tie point is a 2" hitch ball. The funny looking back sun deck is an aluminum plank
that mounts to bow of boat when beached.

I don't know "cemcrae", it's kind of hard to see in the pictures. Maybe if you painted it a more noticible color, so it would stand out, we could see it better !!!:) Love the 2" ball hitch.

Just tbe real carefull the first time you use it, maybe have a spotter on the skier and the tow bar to make sure it isn't going to jack up your deck, you are going to be putting alot of force on the inside corners of your deck, if you went through crossmembersyoushoudl be okay but watch to make sure.

You're not a former racer are you? Your tow bar reminds me a lot of a roll cage from our dirt track days :) Great job. Let us know how it works.

Looks good

How thick is the tubing not that it matters much conduit would be plenty stong.

Thanks for the responses. We used .120" tube . That is the size bender setup we had for making 4X4 and prerunner roll cages.
Good guess MayorJones.
