My outboard was running fine except now and then during cruising it dropped out then carried on again, this got worse over a few weeks untill it wouldn't idle, it was good in medium and high revs but wouldn't idle... I changed the plugs, stripped the carb and soaked it in carb cleaner for a few weeks, then dried it out put it together and its still the same,, though now it splutters while running,.. as if the timing is out? its on a CDI unit no breakers/points,. could this need a new carb or could it be the CDI thats faulty.. thanks,.. ifd its the carb where can I get a new one.. regards Gee
