Honda 2 hp Clutch

Last time I was scooting around in some kelp and didn't realize the prop got wound up in some. Afterwards the clutch didn't want to engage so had to row a few hundred yards. Got home and put it in a barrel and seems to work ok but doesn't sound the same.

Any ideas if this is an easy fix or if it is a problem?

Have you removed the prop to inpect the shear pin? They can break but catch occasionally. That clutch is under the powerhead so repair rivals the cost of a new engine.Hope for the shear pin.
