I've got a bf15a that I am replacing the head gasket on.........the belt was cracked some so I decided to go ahead and replace it. I've got the gasket ordered, but need to know how to set the timing. I see where to line up the cam sprocket, but not sure about the flywheel. And what is the best way to get that belt down on there........the old one was pretty tight.

I also really need the torque value and sequence for the head bolts as well. Thanks in advance!

Re: Honda bf15a timing and torque

Flywhheel timeing is set at the T mark on the flywheel lined up with the raised arrow on the rear pull starter boss.As for torque specs you are on your own.I do not commit those to memory and look them up as needed.Any other way seems dangerous to me.
