Yesterday my Honda BF40 started to vibrate and had no top end. The power head wasn't shaking but you could feel a vibraion throughout the boat. With the loss of power I thought it dropped a cylinder but all plugs looked good (new plugs installed regardless) and starts, idles and runs normal at low rpms. When the rpms increase and load is put on the motor you start to feel the vibration (lots of vibration) and it will not plane the boat. Now I'm wondering if the prop or lower unit could cause the vibration and loss of power? I did look at the prop, didn't see any damage nor did I hit any thing this past weekend. This motor lives at a remote camp and is somewhat difficult to carry in and out. I'm hoping for advice, direction so I can beter trouble shoot this issue next weekend. thanks
