Didn't use for a year.. no start... cleaned carb twice.. will only start and run with a partial manual choke.. runs at higher rpms around 3000.. pushing choke in slowely it speed up then dies.. cleaned jets twice .. low speed pilot setting is per manual 2 1/8 out.. never over tightened .. pilot tips are clean and look perfect... carb cleaner seems to go in when pilot screw removed..
floats work bowl full... fuel filter full almost to top... prime ball hard when squeezd...did not touch throttle linkage adjustments as it ran fine b4 1 yr, layup..

Re: Honda BF50 carb problem

When you are cleaning the carb are you using a spray cleaner or are you soaking the carb in carb cleaner?
