Does the Honda BF50A have a fitting or place to install a garden hose flush adapter to flush the water jacket around the powerhead?

If so, where is it? I have poured over mine and can't find any fittings or ports to attach a garden hose adapter.

Thanks in advance.

If you go to the Honda-marine.com website, you can look at the owners manual for your motor. I checked one and there is a flush adapter that screws into the wash plug (flush plug) in lower unit. Its called the wash screw in some of the manuals. There are a number of them for the 50.

Re: Honda BF50A Flush Adapter?

Thanks. My motor is the jet model and has the outboard jet flush adapter located down low where the jet unit is greased.

I was hoping that there was also a flush port located up high in the power head as well.

The idea was the ability to give a forceful flush around the power head water jacket to help efficiently flush out any accumulated mud or sediment.

I am guess there isn't a place to attach a garden hose to the power head water jacket.

Thanks for replying.
