Honda BF8A Green Light on/off?

New/same topic? While fishing Jackson Lake, noticed green light glowing between shifter and choke. Never seen before. What's it mean if it's on or off?

Hi There...

I have a little Honda 15... Doubt it is much different from yours.
The green light means the oil pressure is OK. Nothing to worry about.

Thank you Steve. My only concern now is in the 5 years I've had the motor, I've never noticed the light before.

I have a BF8A, and also manual/shop manual. Green light illuminated means oil pressure is OK. It is tough to see in bright light, so maybe you just didn't notice it before. Anyway, worry if it is off, not if it is on.
