well Im not sure which forum to post in but hope this is ok. We are trying to put this old outboard onto our boat now and were not sure how to hook up steering or what kind to use. The old 58 johnson seahorse 35 hp is the motor and we want to put it on our 1962 glasspar tacoma, the motor ccame of of a similar boat but it appeared to have a single cable thing hooked up to the steering wheel (although it was not hooked up when we got it given to us so we did not see how it was hooked up to the motor) Our tacoma has a steering thing that is plastic coated cable and pulleys and it is on both sides to the motor and steering wheel. So which and how do we hook up the 35hp, is the question? Please help. Thanks so much
