Years ago we chartered a houseboat with 3 families, and were having a great time swimming, diving and generally having a good time.My sister in law pushed me off the top deck and I swam back, climed up and picked her up, walked over to the side and dropped her in- and realised her head just missed the timber around the side at the waterline by about 6''.It would have seriously injured or killed her. That was 16 years ago this summer and I still shudder about it.What was a great time, lots of fun, nearly turned into a tragedy.

Re: horsing around

Hey Rather, Volumes could be filled with close calls. Those are the ones we really learn from.

I'm really glad to hear everything turned out ok. I;m sure you will never let anybody around you pull the same stunt..

I did something similiar to my cousin except she hit the bow rail, was bruised for months.

Guess what the one thing I don't tolerate on my boat is physical horsing around.

Kinda makes me the Grinch in the kids eyes. Oh well better safe than sorry.
