Hose in bottom of bilge?

Hello, I noticed a hose about the size of 3/8" fuel hose or maybe a little larger in the bottom of my bilge. It is about 2 feet long and connected to something directly behind the engine. I can't get my head close enough to figure out what it is connected to. It is something right behind the oil pan on the bottom and just laying in the bilge area with the other end of the hose being cut at a sharp angle.

I was wondering if this is a drain of some sort? At first I thought it was connected to the drain plug of the oil pan, but it is behind the engine. My manual does not show anything like it, and I want to be sure to drain everything for the winter as to not crack anything.

Any thoughts? I wish I could get a picture but it is just a hose laying in the bottom.

Thanks.

try a mirror and a flashlight. or my favorite trick is to use a camera. take random pics of the area in question then put the pics on your computer and see what ya took pics of.. at the very least, i've found 2 hard to find, minor oil leaks using the camrera trick..
