hot exhaust manifold, the other is cool?

why would my driver side exhaust manifold be hot to the touch and the other side not hot? engine is a 5.7 mercruiser throtle body injection 2001 model

Starboard (I assume "driver side") one's not getting as much water flow through it . . .

Check the intake water flow at both banks to amke sure that you are getting the same pressure to both. If that proves to be good, check the outflow water on both banks and make sure they are equal. If there is any difference you could have a manifold leak or a possible drive pump or engine water pump problem.
