Hi all.

Engine, 220hp, serial ; 0W312399,2400 with bravo2 , put deep down in a Bayliner 305 Ciera

Im concerned my enginge`s running to high above normal temperatur.
Gauge readings on Starboard enginge : 175 F
Port Engine : 180 F
I didnt changed the gauges yet for checking the readings.
What is normal temp actually? We use the boat in salt water but always flush after every trip.
I know for shure that the thermostates are original and opens at 160 F , Ive checked them both..
The temp slighty raises at 4000 rpm on bth gauges but with no more than 5 F

So any reason to be concerned?

Thanks in advance

Given the "accuracy" of those gauges - sounds good to me.

How long since your last water pump service?

Do you have an IR thermometer?

Bought IR therm and readings on the hottest spot on the side of manifolds shows ; 167 F (75 C) on all 4 sides, so i guess its time to relax
